Respeecher and Reality Defender Join Forces to Combat AI-Generated Threats

•••

Kyiv, Ukraine/New York, NY – In a significant move towards enhancing cybersecurity, Respeecher, known for its ethical synthetic speech software, and Reality Defender, a leading cybersecurity company specializing in deepfake detection, have announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to develop advanced audio deepfake detection models, leveraging cutting-edge AI voice technology.`

Goal of the partnership

Through their combined expertise, Respeecher and Reality Defender will work on a comprehensive solution to detect and prevent audio deepfakes. The training data will be generated with Respeecher’s text-to-speech and speech-to-speech technology. This joint effort integrates Respeecher's state-of-the-art generative AI voice capabilities with Reality Defender's sophisticated detection technology.

The ultimate goal is to enable Reality Defender's clients to swiftly identify and neutralize potential threats in real time, thus protecting millions from emerging risks and sophisticated fraud tactics.

Quality AI voice data

One of the key reasons for our partnership is the high quality of the voice data Respeecher has. The data generated with Hollywood-quality voices available on Respeecher Marketplace is anonymized and shared with Reality Defender only after an explicit agreement from the voice donors. Data generated within our Ai Voice Lab projects and Voice Actors’ data aren’t included in data partnership

"We are excited to partner with Reality Defender, a pioneer in deepfake detection," said Alex Serdiuk, CEO and co-founder of Respeecher. "Our proprietary AI voice cloning and speech generator models will significantly enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of Reality Defender's detection platform, providing an unparalleled level of protection against AI-generated threats."

Reality Defender's patented multi-model approach enhances its cloud-based deepfake detection web platform and API to identify fraud, disinformation campaigns, and harmful deepfakes in real time. The integration of Respeecher's advanced generative AI voice processing capabilities into their defensive models promises a robust solution for detecting and preventing AI-generated audio threats.

"We are thrilled to partner with Respeecher," said Ben Colman, Co-Founder and CEO of Reality Defender. "Their high ethical standards for voice cloning, as well as their expertise in realistic voice generation and AI content generation, will significantly enhance our detection capabilities, enabling clients to truly have the best protection against weaponized audio. This collaboration is truly a major progression in our efforts to combat the most harmful deepfakes around."

Fighting the misuse of AI voices

This partnership is a testament to Respeecher's commitment to responsible AI development and its ongoing efforts to ensure the integrity and security of AI-generated content. By joining forces with Reality Defender, both companies reinforce their shared dedication to tackling the growing menace of weaponized AI-generated content. This collaborative endeavor acts as a catalyst for industry-wide cooperation between generative AI companies focused on both creation and detection. It drives forward innovative solutions that provide clients and their users with enhanced protection and peace of mind against the evolving threats posed by malicious AI applications.

Respeecher’s technology not only allows users to generate AI voices and clone their voice but also ensures that these capabilities are used ethically. Their voice AI generator and AI speech models are designed with a focus on AI ethics, ensuring that the tools for generating realistic voices do not fall into the wrong hands.
